COVID-19 cancellation policy
Cancellations due to Government imposed COVID-19 travel restrictions are eligible for a FULL refund.
Cancellations or amendments made more than 7-days from arrival will incur no charge.
Cancellations or amendments made within 7-days from arrival will incur a charge equivalent to one-night's accommodation.
Cancellations or amendments made within 48-hours from arrival will incur a charge equivalent to the total amount of the accommodation booked.
Cancellations or amendments for bookings over long weekends, events or the Christmas/New Year period require more than 30-days notice from arrival to incur no charge.
Cancellations or amendments for group bookings (defined as 4 or more rooms) require more than 30-days notice from arrival to incur no charge.
Bookings made via third parties (eg: Online Travel Agents) have their own cancellation policies that are generally non-refundable.
No local residents policy
As a registered commercial business, we specialise in hosting the travelling public in comfortable quality accommodation.
The 'travelling public' we are permitted to host can be defined as visitors that travel from their residence located outside the district.
We are unable to host local residents that reside within a 20km radius of the motel. Payment policy.
For online bookings, payment is due when the booking is made.
Other arrangements made directly with the motel may also require payment before arrival.
Application for company charge accounts will be considered at the time of booking. Accounts not paid on time will incur interest and collection charges.
No visitor policy
Entry to the motel and use of its facilities are only for the peaceful enjoyment of registered guests.
Visitors may only be considered entry to the motel at the motels' discretion.
Visitors' vehicles are not permitted onsite.
Respect for others policy
No parties, gatherings or behavior that disturbs the peaceful enjoyment of others are permitted.
Guests that ignore our house rules and display anti-social behavior disrupting other guests and the normal running of the motel will be asked to leave. They will forfeit their rights as guests and any payments made.
Damage to motel property
Damage outside of normal use will not be tolerated and will be charged at replacement cost.
Our rooms are to be maintained to an acceptable standard at all times. If additional housekeeping is required by our housekeeping staff, additional charges may apply.
Smoking is not permitted in our rooms. If you smoke in our rooms you will be charged appropriate cleaning, damage and loss of income charges.
Pets are not permitted in our motel rooms.
We understand and appreciate your privacy and the confidentiality and security of information we may gain from you.
We are committed to ensuring that your experience with us is as secure as possible. Your personal information is kept confidential and only used for intended purposes.
Personal information is not shared
All information that you give us is private and will be treated as such.
This information will not be given or sold to any third party without your consent.
Security of your personal information
We take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of your personal details we require when you make a booking with us.
When making a booking online; if your browser is suitably configured, it will advise you whether the information you are sending us will be secure (encrypted) or not secure (unencrypted). If secure transmission is indicated, your personal information will be encrypted using 128 bit SSL encryption technology by our online reservations provider, Strait Reservations.
As data transmission over the Internet is unable to be guaranteed 100% secure, we advise that use of online booking services is at your own risk.
Credit/Debit card details
Your credit/debit card may be required to confirm/guarantee a booking made with us at our Reception, via telephone, email or using our online booking engine supplied by Strait Reservations.
Your credit/debit card details will be securely stored according to The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This is a set of security standards designed to ensure that ALL companies that accept, process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment.
All card details are automatically destroyed in our reservation system 30 days after your stay.
We operate a Closed Camera Television System in some outside public areas of the motel to protect the health, safety and peaceful enjoyment of management, staff, guests and approved visitors.
Images captured are securely stored on a local DVR for up to 30-days and then deleted.
Images will not be publicly disclosed without the consent of the individual(s) shown in the footage or the Police.
We adhere to a strict written CCTV Policy that includes transparent operational procedures and privacy issues.
Website usage stats
We may collate website usage statistics to determine the performance of our website. This data is generic in nature and contains no personal information.
