Houseguests are welcome to use our poolside BBQ. Turn on gas located in the side cupboard where you will also find BBQ tools. Please leave as you found.

We operate a Closed Camera Television System covering outside public areas to protect the health, safety and peaceful enjoyment of motel staff and guests. We adhere to a strict CCTV Policy that considers operational and privacy issues.

Use of the playground is for children 12 years and under. Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times. The management has taken every precaution to make this playground safe and accepts no responsibility for injury.

POOL

Use of our swimming pool is available to houseguests only, between 7.30am and 10.00pm. Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times.

​

RECYCLING

We are keen to help the environment and support recycling. Please dispose of all recyclable glass, paper, plastic & metal items in the recycling bins situated behind the swing doors between rooms 3 and 21.

​

REFUSE

A bin is provided in your room for household rubbish and will be cleared daily. Any excess rubbish may be disposed of in the green wheelie bin behind the swing doors between rooms 3 and 21.

​

ROOM SERVICING

Guests staying for more than one night will receive a daily service of their room generally between 9.00am – 1.00pm. This service includes fresh towels, removal of rubbish, cleaning of bathroom, toilet and making of beds.

​

SAFE DEPOSIT

Guests are welcome to deposit small valuable items in our motel safe at no charge.

​

SMOKE ALARMS

Are installed in your room for your safety. Please open windows and use extractor fans when cooking.

Retail opening hours in the city can vary greatly. Generally, retailers in Gisborne open from 9am to 5pm weekdays, 9am to 3pm on Saturdays & 10am to 1pm on Sundays.

A Countdown supermarket is situated 600 metres towards the city on Gladstone Road and is open from 7am to 10pm 7 days.

​

A 24-hour Caltex service station is situated 300 metres towards the city on Gladstone Road and will satisfy most convenience purchases.

TELEVISION

Turn ON the SKY decoder using the SKY remote.

A green light should be displayed on the SKY decoder.

Turn on the TV using the LG remote.

Ensure the TV input is set to HDMI 1

To set TV to HDMI 1, use the LG remote and press INPUT 

Select HDMI 1 by pressing the Up/Down arrows and press OK. 

You can also use your LG remote to access Smart TV web-based apps including FREE NETFLIX that gives you access to thousands of movies & TV programs.
